James Harold Shea, 86 of Elkton, MD, died Thursday, March 4, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Rising Sun, MD, on December 26, 1923, he was the son of the late George Edward and the late Mae (Montgomery) Shea.
He retired from the U.S. Postal Service where he worked as a Clerk. He was a manager/coach for North East Little League for many years.
Survivors include his loving wife: Nevada E. (Smith) Shea of Elkton, MD; his son: Carey M. Shea and his wife Kathy of Newark, DE; daughter-in-law, Joanna Shea of Elkton, MD; grandchildren: Stacy Silva, Lauren Shea, Krystal Wright and Jaclyn Shea; and his great grandchildren: Alaina, Jacob, Madison and Quran.
He was preceded in death by a son, Harold ‘Hal’ Shea.
A private memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Crouch Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to the Delaware School for the Deaf, in care of Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD 21901.
