Ada Joan Dixon, 74 of North East, MD, died Saturday, July 10, 2010 in the Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD.
A lifelong resident of North East, she was born on January 21, 1936, the daughter of the late Alfred L. and the late Florence Erma (Reynolds) Holmes.
She retired from the Cecil County Board of Education, working in the cafeteria at North East High School. She enjoyed all animals, especially dogs and cats.
Survivors include her two sons: Wade A. Dixon and Robert M. "Bobby" Staines IV both of North East, MD; and 8 grandchildren.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Bert Jicha will be held Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 10:00 AM.
Interment will be private.
